Fitness aficionados from all over the state made a stop in Corpus Christi Saturday to compete in the seventh annual Battle of the Bay Fit Expo.

This year’s expo, at American Bank Center, featured more than 300 bodybuilders and power lifters, as well as games, giveaways and information booths about the fitness industry.

Every year, the expo hosts a national qualifying bodybuilding competition, functional fitness competition and sanctioned power-lifting meet.

The bodybuilding competition is a first step for competitors to earn a spot at the Europa Games Expo, one of the largest supplement, nutrition and apparel trade shows in the world, an official said.

The goal of the event is to also give fitness enthusiasts a chance to meet like-minded fitness leaders, a release states.

The last thing we heard from Huawei about their folding smartphone was that it would launch in September, now it would appear it has been delayed again. Tech Radar were told by Huawei at a recent event in China that the Huawei Mate X will not be launching in September, they have not been give a specific launch date for the device. The company is apparently ‘certain that the handset will launch before the end of 2019, so that would mean either October, November or December.
